Hello!  Thank you for registering for Masquerade!  This is our first attempt at an all-age in-person social gathering since the pandemic began, and we would like to ensure this is a fun but safe event for everyone.  So, before you complete this form, please be sure to review the event description below.

Masquerade is an outdoor event that will take place in our parking lot on Saturday, October, 10, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.  You are invited to dress in your finest formal wear, cosplay outfit, costume, or dress up clothes, and pack for a tailgate.  And, don't forget your face masks - both decorative and practical.  If you feel so inclined, we invite you to also bring a donation of face masks (to go to our IHN families).

Upon arrival, a volunteer will hand you your game cards, collect any donations you may have, and instruct you where to park.  After you park, you will be invited to get out your folding chairs, decorations, coolers, etc., and set up for the night in the empty parking space next to your vehicle (one carload per empty space). 

As the night gets underway, the event's M.C. will invite parties, one-by-one, to parade / strut / dance / do a silly walk (party's choice) throughout the parking lot.  When your party is not strutting their stuff, you all will be watching those who are, and filling out your game cards. 

At the end of the night, prizes will be given out to our game winners, as well as those people or parties who have the best...
*decorative masks (creativity is encouraged);
*fanciest outfit;
*individual costume;
*group costume;
*tailgate decorations;
*strut / dance / silly walk. 

A note on safety: In every population, there are individuals who are at higher risk of developing serious complications from Covid-19.  Within our church, these individuals may be known to you - you may be one of them - but it is likely there are also individuals unknown to you.  For the safety of everyone who wishes to participate in this event please note the following rules and proceedures are in place...
*You must keep 6 ft away from any individual not in your party. 
*You must wear your face mask or shield at all times, except for when you are eating or drinking (this does not apply to children under 2).
*Food and drink will not be provided and the sharing of food or drink between parties is not recommended.
*Entry into First Church building will not be permitted (even for bathroom breaks). 
*All handouts will be sanitized before distribution.
